SenseGlove
Manao

Presenting the redesigned SenseGlove, engineered to revolutionize the immersive experience within virtual reality environments. Re-imagining the original VR hand exoskeleton as a mobile, soft glove to offer unparalleled immersion, bridging the gap between users and their virtual surroundings.

Central to this transformative project are three key development areas: finger tracking electronics, soft glove design, and force haptic feedback. My primary focus encompassed the advancement of finger tracking technology and the implementation of an interactive system pivotal to the final prototype's design.

During the development of the project, I integrated flex sensors with Arduino to orchestrate control over the virtual hand within a custom interactive environment crafted using Python and Blender 3D. This integration facilitated real-time testing with potential users, offering a glimpse into the seamless synchronization of hand movements within complex VR simulations.

I finished off the project by developing realistic visual renders and animations of the final design to bring our vision to life and showcase the design details in addition to our polished physical prototype.
